FAMILIES UNITED AGAINST HATE
is a small grassroots nonprofit organization
created by and for families and survivors of hate motivated violence,
with other individuals and organizations.
Thank you for your interest in the work of Families United Against Hate.
We are no longer active, and have not been for some time.
After our Board of Directors agreed that it was time to lay this work down, and after getting the blessing for that decision from our co-founder Carolyn Wagner's husband Bill Wagner and their son William Wagner, we donated the remaining funds we had - $283.30 - to Southern Poverty Law Center in memory Carolyn Wagner, and on October 1, 2019 we filed Articles of Dissolution with the Secretary of State, formally closing Families United Against Hate as a Washington State Nonprofit Corporation.
Each of us continue as individuals to work to end hate and support those who have been victimized, their families and communities.
With deep gratitude to the Board: Alec Clayton, Secretary; Jason Hungerford, Treasurer; and Ethan St. Pierre, Director; and past Board Directors: Vanessa Edwards Foster, Betsy Stephens, and Steve Schalchlin;
and to all the amazing people we have worked with.
co-founder & President, Gabi Clayton, 10-07-2019
